2016Awarded the contract to manage the Actuarial Society of South Africa’s annual convention through 2019
2016Hosted the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) Annual Meeting in Cape Town for 80 PCO peers from around the world. Delegates gave the meeting a score of 89% – the best ever for such a conference
2016Owner and Director, Kristen Tremeer, appointed to the IAPCO Editorial Board

2015Delivered the 14th World Forestry Congress, providing full PCO services for 3,900 participants in Durban, South Africa
2015Organised the 10th International Conference on Cancer in Africa for the African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC). This conference - the fourth that African Agenda has organised for AORTIC - attracted a record-breaking 906 delegates from 66 countries (including 38 African countries) and 753 abstract submissions, while involving 80 sessions (including 28 pre-conference workshop sessions) and 211 posters
2014Organised the 19th World Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) at the CTICC in Cape Town
2014Appointed to organise the SAACI Annual Congress for three years (2015-2017) - an important endorsement from our industry
2013Non-Executive Director, Brian McDonald, joined African Agenda, bringing invaluable knowledge and expertise gained through the management of such conferences as the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the International Diabetes Foundation, and the World Congress of Paediatric Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery
2012Delivered the first Annual Convention of the Actuarial Society of South Africa to exceed 1,000 delegates
2012Keith appointed to the SAACI Board of Directors
2011African Agenda successfully met the stringent accreditation requirements of IAPCO - the only sub-Saharan African PCO and DMC company to do so
2010Organised the International Congress of Actuaries (1,500 participants), which was brought to South Africa by the International Actuarial Association and the Actuarial Society of South Africa
2009Pronounced a SAACI-Accredited International Professional Conference Organiser
2008Keith appointed Chair of the Western Cape Branch of SAACI
2008Organised the Actuarial Society of South Africa’s Annual Convention (550 participants) and retained each year thereafter to organise the annual convention
2007Delivered the International Conference on Cancer in Africa (400 participants) as hosted by AORTIC in Cape Town. Thereafter, African Agenda was retained to manage subsequent conferences including Dar es Salaam in 2009, Durban in 2013, Marrakech in 2015 and Addis Ababa in 2017
2006Flawlessly executed our first major conference, the Velo Mondial Conference, in Cape Town
2005Keith and Kristen launched African Agenda to focus on the association market following the successful implementation of Access 2004, an association conference on disability and accessibility
