Cape Town has a wide range of accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets. All the designated congress hotels have easy access to the CTICC, and all are within walking distance. Reservations at the designated congress hotels can be made through the Congress Secretariat when registering.

 

The FISA 2009 Congress Secretariat has selected a range of hotels and made block bookings at guaranteed rates. There are a limited number of rooms and reservations will be taken on a "first come, first served" basis, therefore it is strongly recommended that delegates reserve accommodation early.

 

If delegates would prefer to book a Bed & Breakfast or a guesthouse for themselves, the Congress Secretariat recommends using the following websites:

ACCOMMODATION RATES


Cape Town has a wide range of accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets. The FISA 2009 Congress Secretariat has selected a range of hotels for delegates to choose from and has negotiated reduced rates.

All the hotels have easy access to the CTICC, and most are within walking distance. For convenience, delegates can book accommodation with their registration (please see the "Accommodation Booking" section on the Registration Form).

It is strongly advised that delegates reserve accommodation early to ensure availability. If delegates would prefer to book a budget hotel, a bed and breakfast or a guesthouse for themselves, the Congress Secretariat can make recommendations on request.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


PLEASE NOTE
The FISA 2009 Congress Secretariat has selected a range of hotels and made block bookings at guaranteed rates. There are a limited number of rooms and reservations will be taken on a "first come, first served" basis, therefore it is strongly recommended that delegates reserve accommodation early.

PASSPORT DETAILS
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be required to complete a form with your address and passport details. You can speed up this process by completing the passport details section on the Delegate Registration Form. This will ensure that you only need sign a pre-completed form upon check-in.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Reservations are made on behalf of delegates by the FISA 2009 Registration Desk. Complete the appropriate section on the registration form specifying hotel choice, arrival and departure dates, and any other special requirements.

2. Reservations are made on a "first come, first served" basis. The published room rates and availability are valid until 12 December 2008. Thereafter, rates and availability are not guaranteed and any late reservation requests will be accommodated according to current rates and availability.

3. Full payment in advance is required to confirm the reservation. Your credit card must be valid through the end of your stay or the reservation will not be guaranteed.

4. Payments apply only to the original reservation and are not transferable.

5. In the case of cancellation, the following penalties apply:
-- Cancellations before 12 December 2008 will be charged one night's tariff
-- Cancellations 60-30 days before arrival date will be charged a 50% penalty
-- Cancellations within 30 days of arrival date and no-shows will be charged a 100% penalty
-- Should you fail to arrive as scheduled, the hotel will charge you for the loss of revenue for the night or nights in question.

6. Any extras must be settled in South African Rand (ZAR) upon check-out.
