DAMARALAND

Landscape is varied; endless vistas across stark plains, ancient valleys and soaring peaks of surrounding mountains. The flora and fauna is amazing. Desert elephant, oryx, kudu and springbok all survive in this harsh environment. Occasionally cheetah and black rhinoceros can be spotted.

AFRICAN AGENDA’S RECOMMENDATIONS

Accommodation: Exclusive lodges and camps
Evening Functions: Bush and desert options
Accessibility: Windhoek International Airport operates as an international gateway. From here charter flights are recommended to the various destinations
Activities: Game excursions by foot and vehicle, mountain biking, community interaction
Group Size: Small to medium size (maximum recommended size 20 single, 40 sharing)
Destination: Because of the remoteness and unusualness of this destination, it would be a good combination with a busy destination such as Cape Town.
This area is best suited to small and medium sized incentive groups. Given the remoteness of the region, accommodation options are limited. However, it is possible to accommodate medium sized groups using a combination of beds from the surrounding camps, all of them unique in location, style and available activities.
