NAMIBIA
The
Etosha National Park, situated on the northern
tip of Namibia, is one of the major sanctuaries
for wildlife in Africa. The heart of the park
is the Etosha Pan an extensive, flat depression
of about 5 000 sq km. This great, white expanse
of shimmering mirages has been excellently managed
and thus preserved making it one of the greatest
and most important game parks on the sub-continent.
