hard work! The intention of the social programme is to introduce first-time visitors to the varied
splendours of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. For those already familiar with
Cape Town, various social activities will be designed for your relaxation and for networking
with old and new friends.

A Welcome Reception will
be held after delegate registration on Sunday, 13th May. This is an opportunity to meet up with
colleagues and plan your schedule for the colloquium. The Organising Committee hopes to host this
event at a venue that showcases Cape Town’s amazing views and allows delegates to orient
themselves in the city.

An afternoon excursion
to one of the Cape’s vineyards will give delegates and partners a taste of the famed South
African winelands. Wine-tasting, cellar tours, a gourmet luncheon and other epicurean
delights are on the agenda…

A gala closing
dinner will close out the colloquium in style. Delegates and partners can relax and
enjoy an evening of gourmet cuisine and live entertainment.
