PAYMENT METHODS

1. Credit Card - MasterCard, Visa, American Express.
2. Deposit / Bankers Draft / Transfer.
3. Cheque - Made payable to IAAHS 2007. Cheques must be in ZAR currency.

COLLOQUIUM REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Registration will only be valid once all monies are received.
2. All payments to be made payable to IAAHS 2007.  
3. All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations 90 days prior to the beginning of the colloquium will receive a full refund less a 10% administration fee. Cancellation between 90 and 30 days will be refunded 50% of the fees less the administration fees; if registration fees are outstanding the delegate will be liable for 50% of the colloquium fees. No refunds will be provided for cancellations and no shows within 30 days of the start of the colloquium and the delegate will be liable for the full colloquium fee.
4. Completed registrations will be acknowledged within 7 days.
5. Registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered only if the Colloquium Secretariat is informed in writing.
6. All fees are payable in South African Rands (ZAR). Any
   short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations
   will be charged back to the delegate in question.

ACCOMMODATION

Cape Town has a wide range of accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets. The IAAHS 2007 Colloquium Secretariat has selected a range of hotels for delegates to choose from and has negotiated reduced rates.

All the hotels have easy access to the CTICC, and most are within walking distance. For convenience, delegates can book accommodation with their registration (please see the "Accommodation Booking" section on the Registration Form).

It is strongly advised that delegates reserve accommodation early to ensure availability. If delegates would prefer to book a budget hotel, a bed and breakfast or a guesthouse for themselves, the Colloquium Secretariat can make recommendations on request.

ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURE
1. Reservations will be made on behalf of delegates by the IAAHS 2007 Colloquium Secretariat. Please complete the appropriate section on the registration form specifying single or double occupancy, check-in/ check-out dates, and any other special requests.

2. To ensure that your accommodation is secure, please book prior to 1st March 2007. Any accommodation requests received after this date will be dealt with on a per availability basis.

3. In order to secure your accommodation, one night's deposit is required. The balance is due on 10th April 2007 and will be debited from the credit card provided for the deposit. Please ensure that your credit card is valid through the end of your stay, failing which the booking may not be guaranteed. Any extras must be settled in South African Rand (ZAR) upon check-out.

4. In the case of cancellation, the deposit paid is not refundable. Cancellations prior to 10th April 2007 will forfeit the one night's deposit. For cancellations less than 30 days from arrival date and failure to arrive at all (no shows), a 100% penalty will be charged. Should you fail to arrive as scheduled, the hotel will charge for the loss of revenue for the night or nights in question. Deposits apply only to the original booking made and are not transferable.

PLEASE NOTE
All reservations are made on a 'first come, first served' basis. The stated room rates and availability are valid through 1st March 2007. Thereafter, no rates or availability can be guaranteed and requests will be dealt with according to the current availability and rates at the hotels.

PASSPORT DETAILS
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be required to complete a form with your address and passport details. If you wish to speed up this process, please complete your passport details on the Colloquium Registration Form (nationality, passport number and expiry date). This will ensure that you only need sign the pre-completed form on arrival.
