MANAGEMENT TEAM

KEITH BURTON

Keith graduated from the University of Cape Town with a business related degree spending numerous years in Corporate Finance and Project Management before embarking on a career in the conference industry. Keith is very thorough, has excellent management skills and is a leader that brings out the best in the people working around him.

KRISTEN TREMEER

Kristen received a Master’s degree in International Studies (a structured course in International relations and Global Business) from the University of Stellenbosch. After having worked as a research assistant for Professor Philip Nel, then Head of the Political Science Department, Kristen joined Omega Investment Research (Pty) Ltd. She worked with Omega for two years as an organiser of international trade and investment promotion events and as the editor of Omega’s monthly electronic journal of political and economic analysis, Africa Investor before joining African Agenda.

PAUL DE WAAL

Paul graduated with a civil engineering degree from the University of Cape Town and after working as a property developer for 5 years decided on a change in career and has been involved in conferencing ever since. Paul brings the traditional engineering skills of planning, project management and problem solving to the company.

SARA MCCARTHY

After graduating from UCT in the early nineties Sara started her career in the conference and incentive industry in Victoria Falls. She subsequently started her own Incentive and Conferencing company operating from Victoria Falls which went on to become one the most successful companies in the popular region. The demise of tourism (especially corporate travel) in Zimbabwe saw Sara relocating to Cape Town.
